2026 | 5th Annual Bluegill Tourney
This year’s tournament runs from 7:00 am Friday June 5th to 4:00 pm Sunday June 7th 2026. All submissions must be emailed to [email tbd] no later than 8:00 pm Sunday, June 7th.
Submit your Largest, Smallest, or Prettiest category picture. Or, submit your total sunfish caught count. The Most Caught category is on the honor system. No pictures are necessary.
One winner from each category will be recognized at the 8 June 2026 Beer Tie Meeting. Go to your favorite Virginia, Maryland, District of Columbia sunfish spot
Take a picture of your fish with the TPFR Tournament Ruler including the taped-on penny.

Registration fees for this year’s tournament are:
$30 for persons over 16
$10 for persons 13-to16
Free for persons under 13
Registrants 16 and under must be registered by a parent and/or guardian.
Tournament registration and payments are online this year. Use the QR Codes to register, pay your registration fee, and to retrieve your Official Bluegill Tournament Rules and Official TPFR Bluegill Tournament Ruler. The rules and ruler may be downloaded prior to registering for the tournament.
